This pretty little fae has quietly fallen fast asleep, and seems to be most comfortable anywhere. She’s fully sculpted from polymer clay in detail, all the way down to each little finger and toe, in a relaxed position with sleeping eyes. Her sweet little features have been blushed and colored with permanent heat set oils, with her nails and lips glossed with quality clear varnish. She wears faux cicada fairy wings that shift colors from pinks to greens in the light. They are slightly flexible and are permanently secured to her. She's sweetly dressed in ivory netting for her bodice and skirt, with accenting pink faerie trimmings around her sleeves and her little hips. She has long flowing white/ivory angora mohair, which is pulled back on the right side with a tiny bow, allowing her little ear to peek out from beneath. This little sleeping beauty would be about 5 ½ "-tall if she were standing. As with each sculpture, this creation is guaranteed to be a one of a kind piece that has been sculpted without the aid of any molds. This little faery is dated and signed by me, Linda Smith, on the back of the neck just under the hairline with LS '07. She’ll come complete with a signed photo certificate of authenticity.
