With endearing brown eyes and an innocent expression, this little dark headed fairy pauses for a moment before she takes off again! She has handmade faux cicada fairy wings that shift colors from pinks to greens in the light. They are slightly flexible and are permanently secured to her. She's scantly dressed in black see-through fabric for her bodice and skirt, accented with little red organza roses, and faerie trimmings around her shoulders and her little hips. Her hair is long flowing brown/black Tibetan Lamb, which is pulled back on her left side accented with a tiny red rose, allowing her little ear to peek out from beneath. Her features have been lightly colored with heat set oils and acrylics. On her knees, she sits approximately 4" high. If she were standing, she would be about 5 1/2"-tall, with a wing span of 4" also. She's fully sculpted in detail, all the way down to her fingers and toes! As with each sculpture, this creation is guaranteed to be a one of a kind piece that has been sculpted without the aid of any molds. This little faery is dated and signed by me, Linda Smith, on the back of the neck just under the hairline with LS '07. She comes complete with a signed photo certificate of authenticity.
