Sculpting Hands

Proportions:

Taking measurements of the palm will help to determine the overall finger lengths

Beginning with the middle finger, determine the length of the hand from point A to C.

In proportion to the head, point A to C is equal to the chin (A) to just above the browline (C).

For width, the hand is equal to one half of the width of the head. The head is equal to two hands wide.

The distance of A to B is equal to B to C for each finger.

From B to C the knuckle is half the distance.
